The Fell Terms and Conditions
General terms of booking
Levin Alppitalot Oy (Levi Alpine Chalets Ltd) is the company providing The Fell services and is responsible for the operational management. Levin Alppitalot Oy is hereinafter referred to as Service Provider. Services such as transfers, activities and caterings are provided by local subcontractors.
Following terms are used by Service Provider in reservations and cancellations of the services. Liability of terms and conditions between the customer (You) and provider (Levin Alppitalot Oy) become binding to each of the parties once the booking You have made the booking.
Service Provider reserves the right to correct the errors in rates before a contract is made. VAT is following the current legislations.
Changes to the booking, such as extra services, may be accommodated based on availability and subject to additional charges.
In case a customer requests staff’s extra visit to the lodge, has Service Provider the right to charge additional service fee. Private host is one of the extra services, which are available upon pre-request.
Customers are required to pay for any extras or alcoholic beverages consumed in the restaurant separately at the time of service. These charges can be settled directly on-site using a credit card. All other extras will be charged to the customer’s credit card on the day of check-out.
Check in time is at 6 pm and check out time at 3 pm. We will do our best to accommodate the customers according to their flight schedules.
Cancellations and payments
Cancellations must be done in written by email. Non-payment is not considered as cancellation and the booking will not be cancelled automatically if the payment has left outstanding. Cancellation becomes valid when Levin Alppitalot Oy receives the information about the cancellation.
In case cancellation is done later than 60 days prior arrival, during the stay or in case of no show, the booking is fully charged, and no payments are refunded. Reservation is paid 100 % 60 days prior customers arrival day. If the reservation is made within 60 days prior customers arrival day, 100 % of the amount is paid when making the reservation.
Accepted forms of payment include credit card payments, bank transfer or advance invoicing.
Customers are required to pay for any extras or alcoholic beverages consumed in the restaurant separately at the time of service. These charges can be settled directly on-site using a credit card. All other extras will be charged to the customer’s credit card on the day of check-out.
We recommend purchasing an appropriate travel insurance to cover for any possible situation of cancellation and for cases of force majeure. Service Provider is not obliged to accept cancellations based on a doctor’s certificate or other similar documentation.
In case of Force Majeure (for example fire or water damage), has Service Provider the right to cancel the booking. In these cases, the customer will get a full refund.
Payments with credit card and internet banking
In case a customer wants to pay with credit card, acts Levin Alppitalot Oy only as the marketer of products and delivers the products to buyers. Paytrail Oyj acts as the seller in Visa, Visa Electron and MasterCard payments and the deal is made between the customer and Paytrail Oyj. Paytrail Oyj is responsible for reclamations as well. The seller is responsible for all deal related obligations.

Paytrail Oyj (FI2122839) provides net bank related payment transfer services in co-operation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. For consumer, the service works the same way as traditional web payments.
Terms and conditions of travel program
Service Provider reserves the right to make changes to the itinerary according to the availability of the programs, for safety reasons or any other valid reason. All outdoor programs are weather permitted. In case of cancellation by local service provider, alternative program will be organized, or activity will be rescheduled.
On Husky Adventure adults will drive themselves a shared husky sled. Children are placed as passengers in the sled.
Snowmobile expedition includes safari in a shared snowmobile (2 persons per snowmobile). All drivers must be over 18 years old and have a driving license present with them, which is valid for use within the European Union. Children travel in a sled pulled by a guide. Over 140 cm children can travel as a passenger in a snowmobile for additional fee. Snowmobiling is not recommended for people with back pain or pregnant women.
Snowmobiles are insured for traffic in Finland. Snowmobile driver is held liable for any damages caused to the vehicle or third parties. Personal self-liability is 1 500 €. Riding under the influence of alcohol or other substances is prohibited. Refund will not be made in case of denying participation due to this matter.
Only applies to stays of 7 nights: Snow Village opens for public from 25th Dec 2024. Alternative program is arranged before the opening date.
At the beginning of the winter season (November) and at the end of winter season (April) husky and snowmobile safaris may not be able to arrange due to low amount of snow. In this case Service Provider is entitled to change activity to an equivalent substitute activity.
Service provider is not obliged to refund in case a guest is not able to attend to one or more activities or part of the program due to any reason eg. age, pregnancy, or physical limitations. Infants between 0-3 years, cannot participate in all activities for safety reasons.
A customer undertakes to follow the schedule agreed in advance. Service provider is not obliged to any compensation or refund in case of any consequences that arise due to guest being late.
The Northern Lights sightings cannot be guaranteed. As natural phenomenon their appearance is unpredictable and dependent on specific natural conditions. However, The Fell has the best opportunities for spotting them.
To ensure we provide customers with the best possible experience, kindly provide us customer’s flight number, the age and height of any children in the group, clothing sizes for winter attire, and any allergies or special dietary requirements for meals.
